Last year, I traded my Jot A Dot for a Plextalk Pocket. I have been using it with no issues, until today. It died, and I thought that I just needed to charge it. But when I plugged it in, it didn't play the music indicating that it was charging, and when I tried to turn it on, it wouldn't start. I tried while it was charging, and again after it had been left plugged in for a few hours. I then plugged it into my computer, but Windows didn't recognise it. I read the part about resetting in the manual, but there doesn't appear to be a way of doing so while turning it on. Is there any way that I can fix this? Thanks.
As an update to this story, last week, I plugged in the Plextalk and it started working! I still have no idea what happened, but I'm glad that I now have it back, as it's a great little device.
Next time, take the batteries ut then put them back in and try turning it on.
